Sea World!

We had a wonderful day at Sea World. It turned out that we all somehow met up at the first show - who could miss Shamu?! Then, we were able to enjoy spending time together going from show to show for the rest of the day. The challenge for us was trying to keep Parker from burning in the 100 degree weather. We tried to keep him covered in his carrier most of the day. What really cooled him off, however, was when we went to a dolphin and pilot whale show. We sat in the "splash zone" because we figured that a little splash would feel great. The "little splash" was not so little after all. The pilot whale got us! We were soaked. Parker didn't seem to mind, though! In fact, he had been whining a little, but this stopped it all. He was perfectly content to be a little wet in the heat!

Sea World had changed a lot since we last had been there. There were a lot more shows, water rides, and more animals to touch. We especially loved being able to touch the dolphins and the rays. It was amazing!

You would think that if I was going to get dirty, it would be from one of the sea animals that I touched while we were there...NOPE, instead a little bird decided to poop on me. I guess that it is true that I can't go anywhere without getting dirty! We loved Sea World and hope to go back soon since we will only be living 5 hours from it when we move to Phoenix!

Awww - how fun is that! We took Hunter to Sea World when he was about 4 months old. He saw your pics and says we need to go back, since he doesn't remember :)
