This past week has been a very busy one. I have decided that moving is not fun at all. Don't get me wrong, it is nice after the fact - but the process of actually moving is really tedious! Luckily, we were blessed with all sorts of little miracles in this move. First, we had a lot of help from friends and family with packing up the truck. Second, we decided to have me drive instead of fly. This turned out to be better because it saved money and Rich didn't have to pull my car on a trailer. That made the drive a lot better. Third, we couldn't have done it without my mom and Lance! My mom helped by taking care of Parker in the car ride down. Plus, she helped make the unpacking so much easier by helping unpack and helping with Parker. Lance was so nice to drive our other car and be slave labor...After driving for 12 hours on Wednesday, sleeping on the floor the first night, and unpacking the truck in 3 hours in the Phoenix heat, the boys were exhausted! We walked into the front room and they were both sprawled out on the floor. Then, they spent the next few days putting things together for me so that our house could be all set up! They were great help!
Well, you think that would have been enough miracles in getting all of that done, but then after the move, we got two flat tires. One was on the moving truck while it was in the parking lot. I am so grateful that it happened after the move and not while Rich was driving the truck. The second flat tire came while we were on the freeway. We got a flat while Rich was driving. I was so thankful that he was driving because he knew what to do. I just know that we were so blessed in so many little ways on this move. I am so thankful for all of the help and support we received!
