I took Parker in to get his pictures taken on Halloween. This time, he did a little bit better and we actually got a few pictures that we liked. He was smiling a lot more...the only problem this time was that he kept on wanting to play and eat with the leaves. He pretty much puts anything and everything in his mouth these days. The latest things that he has managed to reach and get his hands on are blankets, fingers (his and others), his Baby Einstein blocks, rattles, pants, pillows, teething rings, and even an attempt to eat the carpet. I guess that we are getting into that stage where you have to vacuum all of the time because if there is something on the ground, he will find it! Also, I think I spoke to soon about his great sleeping habits...I always do that! I've just decided that Parker does what he wants when he wants. That doesn't mean that I have given up on trying, but I just realize that Parker is not a "textbook baby." He just has a strong personality. I guess that it is true what they say: babies are born with their own personalities. We love seeing him grown and really start to notice the world around him. What a cute Tigger :)

He's so cute, and the pics turned out GREAT!
I know all about strong personalities, for some reason I've ended up with six :)
Hunter slept in his carseat by our bed for the first 8 months of his life, and we had to put him in it, in the crib for another month or so to finally get him to sleep in it :) Plus, a few months after that he learned to climb out of his crib (being a little monkey) and he slept in our bed with us til we kicked him out when he was four ;) With four kids, 6 and under, we were so desperate for sleep, we'd do whatever would let him sleep through the night :) I know that's comforting for you - hee hee.....
