Parker must have made the nice list because sure enough, Santa came! Parker didn't have any trouble sleeping the night before. In fact, Rachel was disappointed that she had to wait for Parker to wake up in order to go downstairs to see what Santa had left. At 7:30, we finally made it downstairs to see what Santa had left behind. Parker immediately began putting all of his toys in his mouth. He was excited to get so many new toys. His stocking was filled with new foods to eat and teething rings to chew on. Santa really knows what Parker likes! Christmas day was busy, busy, busy! After spending a couple of hours opening presents and stockings, we drove out and visited Andrea's family, Amy's family, my grandmas, and then went back to my parents to see Mary's family. It was perfect because I was able to see everyone throughout the day. On Christmas night, we went over to the Bishop's house for more presents and fun. It was a great day to spend with family. Parker was a perfect angel all day long.
One funny story about Christmas day was that the night before, we had had a fire. We thought that the fire was out and my dad closed the fireplace. Unfortunately, the fire was not out and the log continued burning all night long. On Christmas morning, we woke up to the smell of wonderful campfire. Everything in the house smelled including all of our new Christmas presents. All day long, we had to explain why we smelled. It just made a great Christmas memory :)
