Who knew that laundry could be so much fun?!!

Today, Parker was playing with his toys and I was trying to take advantage of the moment to get some laundry done. Novel idea, right? He was perfectly happy as long as I was sitting right there next to him and folding the laundry. However, if I left the room to put something away, he thought it was the end of the world. On one of these ventures out of the room, he turned to find me. Instead, he discovered the laundry basket. He used one of his latest skills to his advantage. He has learned that if he leans all of the way forward, he can have his stomach on the ground. Then, all he has to do is move his legs...Ta Da! He can get from a sitting position to his stomach. Tricky kid! Anyway, the laundry basket looked very intriguing to him. When I came back in the room, I tried to give him some toys to play with, but all he wanted was the basket. When I finally helped him over to the basket and plopped him in, he was happy. He started giggling! He thought that it was great to be inside the basket...He tried chillin' out, climbing, and rocking back and forth in the laundry basket. He even let me leave the room while he was in there! Who knew that a laundry basket could provide such great entertainment!
