You know when you are in Arizona when:
1. You go to church on Sunday and there are cones covering the sidewalk. Upon further investigation, you realize that the cones are a caution against the ice that somehow formed overnight.
2. There are problems with small floods all over the state because the pipes froze overnight. Who knew that you should actually put the pipes lower in the ground?!
3. Thousands of people were without gas because there was an overload to the gas companies. Apparently, they had never had so many people turn on their heaters at the same time. The gas companies just put the heaters in as decoration :)
4. Everyone is complaining about the cold weather and record low temperatures, but yet it is still warm enough to go swimming.
5. You hear the sound of water at night and think that it might be raining. Excited about the possibility of rain, you go outside and discover that it is just the sprinklers going (In January of all times!)
