Things that I am thankful for this week:
1. Parker learned a new skill this week - clapping his hands. It is so adorable because he claps his hands and just starts grinning. If anyone else around him claps, he will think for a moment and then start clapping. I LOVE seeing him learn new skills!
2. I enjoyed my first day back in primary today. I love my new calling as the primary chorister. It is fun to work with the kids and think of games and visuals for them to learn songs. It makes me feel some of the toys of teaching again. Another perk is that I just do it once a week (not like when I taught 5 days a week, babysat on Saturdays, and did Primary on Sunday!)
3. Parker is starting to feel better after a long week of being sick and grumpy. It is nice to his smile again!
4. I finished watching season 2 of "Lost." My sister Heidi convinced me that I should watch this and now I am hooked. I am not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing because it has definitely been time consuming. Now I just have to catch up for this season :)
5. I am thankful for Rich and Parker and the fun times that we have with our little family down here. Rich is always so thoughtful and helpful with everything. I am thankful for all that he does for us! (especially on Sunday because it is "Daddy Day" as I so fondly call it!)

What???? You didn't love teaching five days a week??? I don't know how you can say that, I know for a fact your class last year was full of little angels, not a single troublemaker in the bunch - especially not one named Hunter....
I bet you will be the favorite primary chorister :) I can just imagine the visuals and fun activities you will think of to make it all so fun for the kids :) Congrats :)
Glad that Parker is feeling better and that you could have some fun family time :)
I'm a little behind, but I got my list up today - the joys of soccer season are upon me :)
Don't get me wrong, I loved teaching...It just takes a lot out of you. I wouldn't trade those troublemakers for the world though. I definitely miss that bunch of kids!
