March Madness Baby

With March Madness in full swing, we thought that it was appropriate that Parker be ready for it. First, he picked his bracket. To qualify for any sort of reward in the Tate Family bracket, he must be able to choose somehow. So, we decided that if he ate a bite of food without resisting, it meant the top seed. If he resisted, it meant he wanted to choose the lower seed. The only exception was that he had to choose BYU to go to the championship game. We thought that someone should cheer for our Cougars. Seeing that Parker resists eating a lot of bites, his bracket is struggling. With the bracket chosen, the next step to understanding March Madness was the outfit. (This obviously wasn't Rich's idea). Decked out in his basketball clothes, he was ready to go and watch some games with his Daddy. Lastly, March Madness meant that Parker needed to learn to play with a basketball. It started with his little toy basketball, but he found the real basketball so much more fun. Rich loves the fact that Parker will now play "pass" by rolling the ball to him. He has now truly become a March Madness Baby.
