Parker was so excited to work on a "boy project" with his dad. When he woke up from his nap and saw tools, wood, and a project on the floor - he was ready to jump into the action. This little boy doesn't want to miss out on a thing. It wasn't enough to just be on the outside looking in, instead, he needed to be right in there next to Rich. We finally ended up leaving the project and finishing when Parker was sleeping. He definitely is reaching that stage where he doesn't want to miss out on anything. If we are sitting at the table, he wants to be right up there eating with us. If we are are the computer, the buttons are his best friends. If we are on the phone, he wants to be chewing on the end. He has even discovered that the remote is no longer a fancy toy with buttons. Today while we were watching conference, he kept on pushing buttons on the remote and then looking up at the t.v. to see if anything happened. He quickly became uninterested in the remote because it wasn't working to change the channel. What new thing will he find next?!

The world is just waiting to be discovered :) My bets are on toilet paper :) Unrolling that is pretty dang fun - hee hee! Or taking everything out of the cupboards, taking all the books off the shelf :) And then, he'll go back to the remote - afterall - he is male - right?????
Thanks for the smile your posts always bring :)
