Parker is really starting to cruise these days. He has fully mastered the "army crawl" and manages to get all around the house. He has discovered all sorts of new things that there are in our apartment including the kitchen floor (it makes a great drum!), the blinds, the cd player, drawers in his bedroom, the lamps, any craft items that I am working with, and any leftover cheerios or other tasty treats that he drops on the floor during meals...He must know that he might want them later.
He has also discovered that he can move his feet when he is holding on to the couch. Earlier this week, Rich and I were commenting that he was trying to move, but would only move one feet. Later that day, he surprised me by moving both feet. He must of known that we were talking about him. He is now starting to get the hang of moving both feet and switching his weight to move along the couch. He usually only does this when there is motivation (as usual, this would be some sort of technology like cameras, remotes, and the computer). He must have tired himself out the other day with all of his cruisin' because he had to take some breaks to put his head down to rest or suck his thumb! It wasn't long until he was moving again :)
