Sarah and I went to the "Eclipse Prom." A friend of mine in my ward down here named Stephenie Meyer wrote two books that are on the best seller lists for young adults called "Twilight" and "New Moon." They had a prom to kick off the new book that will come out this August. We all dressed up in formals and went to the event where you could buy books, get books signed, take pictures with the models from the books, eat great food, and dance to the music that she felt was fitting for the books. Who knew that there were so many fans out there! It was fun to go and see what it was all about. It's not very often that you get to dress up for an event, so it was a fun excuse! (Note, although the picture looks like a "date," the boys were the models representing Edward and Jacob...don't worry, I am not going out with other men)!

That is sooo cool Becca! What fun!!! Are these books those ones about the vampires? Someone was talking about an LDS author who had written a set of three and the third was due out soon, and said they were really good :)
I can't believe she's in your ward!! She's practically a superstar down here. What, do all you Mormon superstars just gravitate toward one another?? ha. We just read the first book for book club and one girl said, "I've never wanted to be bitten so bad in my life". How funny.
