Happy Mother's Day

As we celebrated Mother's Day yesterday, I have pondered upon how grateful I am to be a mother. This is my first Mother's Day as a mom. It is amazing how much life can change once you have a child. I love sharing all of the little moments with Parker. I love seeing him grow, helping him learn new things, making him smile, and spending time with him. I am so thankful that I can stay home and take care of him. I am also grateful for my own mom. It was so wonderful to be able to spend a few days with her this past week. She is such a wonderful example to me. I look up to her in so many ways. She is constantly serving and showing to love to each of her 10 kids. I am thankful to all of the other women who have influenced me in my life!

Yesterday for Mother's Day, I was in charge of leading the primary children in singing to their moms. Rich was in charge of getting the flowers for all of the women in our ward. I went and picked up the flowers for him. He surprised me though and brought me some flowers too. He said, "I couldn't have you pick up you own flowers." He has always been sweet like that and has given me flowers every Mother's Day since I have known him. He has said that it is because I would be a future mother. Rich is very thoughtful!

Happy Mother's Day to all of the wonderful women out there!

What a great post. You are a wonderful Mom Becca of Love. It was so fun to see you, Parker and Rich. Thanks to Rich for the good motrin/tylenol advice we've needed it the past few days!
