We finally did it...we turned the car seat around so Parker is facing forward in the car. Surprisingly, he wasn't the right weight when he turned one. Not far off, but different than we thought. We assumed he would be way over! When he was 19.6 at his 6 month, we were sure that he would easily make it, but nope! This little kid didn't gain much in 6 months - he just grew taller and thinned out.
Parker was wondering what in the world was going on in the car. It was a totally different experience to be facing forward. I could hear him giggling as I drove down the street. When I got to the stoplight, I would turn and look at him. He would give me the cheesiest grin in the world. He definitely thought that turning the carseat around was a pretty exciting thing. I wish I could have gotten pictures while I was driving because the smiles were so CUTE! Here's to riding in style...forward!

Yeah Parker! He's a big kid now! I added our picture from the DBack game to my slide show, I think I removed our red eye.
Becca, I am so excited to see your blog. I hope you don't mind me poking my head in and leaving comments. I hope things are going well in AZ.

Whooo hoooo Parker!!! You definitely beat Brady - we didn't turn him around until after his 2nd birthday :)
I'm glad he's liking riding forward facing, it's so much more fun :) For both Mommy and kiddo :)
