One of my favorite memories of living with the Delaney Family was their love for
the Yankees. Every Friday, when Paul would come out on the train, Emma and Jack would make sure to put on their Yankee clothes because their Daddy loved the Yankees so much. There were many quizzes given to who the players are the Yankees were (similar to the quizzes that I was given growing up about the rules of football on our way to BYU football games). I guess there is something about teaching kids early about
sports...this inner need for the Dad's to make sure that their kids love sports. Thus, I became a Yankee fan from my early training as well. Parker had Yankee clothes (compliments of his cousins) before he was even born. I only thought that it was appropriate to put them all in Yankee clothes for some pictures.Parker sure loved playing with his cousins. He would follow them around the house, play ball with them, listen to music with Emma, read stories, play with Michael's toys, and stare at them. He loved having so many people to play with and look at. They were all such a big help with Parker and we had a great time! Thanks for a wonderful vacation! We love you!

Looks like you and Parker had a lot of fun. I love the picture of Parker dipping his toes in the shore break; he looks terrified. Not to worry, Jack always needs a little time to warm up to the waves and we live at the beach!

Mike would like to say that it's too bad you have to poison the little one so soon... first BYU then the Yankees. I say he better get used to it because his son was born a Coug.
Hey Becca! I don't even know if you remember me, but it's Nicole Sonnenberg (now Maughan). I was organizing/filing some old pictures and came across the one of us at Academy For Girls...and it TOTALLY hit me that I also saw you in Erika's pictures on her blog! I can't believe it took me so long to put it together! Anyway, it's great to "see" you again and see what you're up to. Been forever!
