First Steps and Beyond
On Labor Day, Parker finally got brave enough to take a couple of steps on his own. He thought it was pretty fun to go back and forth between people. Since then, he has continued to get a little braver and take a few more steps. What holds him back??? He LOVES to flop forward. He thinks it is so funny to fall straight on his stomach. So, it is usually 4-5 steps and then a flop. The other night, he discovered how much fun it is to flop into the pillows. He loves to hold on to the couch and fall back. He has even discovered the joys of holding onto the headboard of our bed and then letting go. I guess that he isn't afraid of falling, but instead thinks that the falling is so much fun that there is no need to walk more steps. For now, it's fun to see him take his first few steps :)

At least he likes falling an the pillows - much softer than the floor!
That's exciting about the walking. Linc isn't really crawling yet and I'm not too sad. I'm enjoying our relatively clean house while I can.
Way to go Parker! That's exciting that he is starting to walk.
