2. Parker finally learned how to suck from a straw. I have been wanting him to figure this out for awhile because it makes going to restaraunts so much easier. He has always had a hard time sucking though. He never really took a bottle, couldn't drink with the stopper in his sippy cup, and tried to bite the straw. My friend Angie finally came up with the solution by introducing the plastic juice box. It worked and now Parker can drink from a straw. Small accomplishment, but we're excited!
Step 1: Rubbermaid Litterless Juice Box
(A straw, but you can just push to get the juice to come out)

Step 2: A sippy cup with a straw

Step 3: Juice boxes and straws in cups
3. Parker LOVES to push things. I have put this many times on my blog...but that is because it is true. He pushes chairs, garbage cans, laundry baskets, walkers, and anything else he can find. Some funny and interesting things that he has found to push are the carts with tables on them at the church, our Kitchen Island (which is on wheels), and strollers. Luckily, this week he started pushing his own things around including: his wagon, cars, and his toy box. What can I say, he loves pushing things!
4. Parker is a thumb sucker and a belly rubber. He has been sucking his thumb since before he was born. We even saw it in the ultrasound. Now days, he sucks his thumb and rubs his belly. If he can manage, he'll try and rub other bellies as well. Better watch out!
5. Parker is a huge cuddler. He loves to cuddle with pillows, stuffed animals, and his Mommy and Daddy. If I am ever laying on the floor, he will crawl right over to me and plop down to cuddle.

Whoooo hooo - WTG Parker on that straw drinking - definitely a good skill :) Brady used to drink out of those rubbermaid straw cups for years :) They're nice because they don't spill - well - unless you put Gop (pop) in them :)
Parker is a doll - my kids and I have loved looking at all his new pics. I still can't believe how blonde he is!!! He is such a cutie!
We couldn't have lent our walker to a better person. I have never known someone to like pushing so much!
We would love to have parker sort OUR laundry when you come next--it is piling up.
