Okay, I know that I am a little slow in updating...Last week was Rich's 27th birthday. Usually, he doesn't want to do anything special for his birthday, but this year since it was on a Sunday we decided to have some friends from our ward over to celebrate. We enjoyed a great dinner of Flank Steak (grilled on Rich's new grill from his parents!) It was quite a fun surprise. I had our friend Ryan pick it up from the store after I was laughed at when I tried to fit the grill into my little civic. Ryan graciously picked it up and took it to his house. Then, he thought it would be fun to set it up for Rich and wheel it over (since they live across the street). Rich was surprised to open the door to a grill. So, he had a fun time using his present for some good food!
We also enjoyed playing games and having dessert with a few more friends from our ward that night. We love games and Rich got some fun new games for his birthday that we were able to enjoy with our friends! I even made him blow out candles for his fruit pizza (although it didn't require much blowing because of the fan...it was more a trick to keep the candle lit.) Parker especially enjoyed helping Rich open his presents! Happy 27th Birthday Rich!

Cute pic's bec - and happy b-day Rich~ We loved playing games and hanging out the other night - we need to get together again soon. I know we will convert you to pinochle... we'll just have to first get you some face cards!
Fruit pizza, what a great idea. We aren't big cake eaters here and I have a hard time figuring out what to do. We did dutch oven desserts for Matt's birthday.

Rich, you're nearly 30! How does it feel to be the old man you are?? Too bad Mike wasn't there to roll his ankle while playing some mean board games. I'm glad you had a fun day.

Happy Birthday Rich!! Mike's birthday is the end of this week and I was trying to figure out what to make him for dessert since I can't find his favorite apple crisp. I think I just might go with your fruit pizza!!
