Sedona

A couple of weeks ago, my sister Wendy and her family came to visit. Due to the crazines of the market, Paul wasn't able to come at first. So, Monday night, Wendy drove up to Sedona with her kids. That night Paul called me and told me that he was going to surprise Wendy and come the next day. I picked him up from the airport on Tuesday morning and we drove up to Sedona (about 1 1/2 hours North of Phoenix). When we were almost there, I called Wendy on her cell phone and told her that I didn't really have anything to do that today, so I thought that I would just surprise her and meet her for lunch. We agreed on a place to meet and her kids seemed pretty excited that we decided to come. Imagine the surprise when they realized that I had brought Paul with me :)

I spent the day with them in Sedona. I had borrowed a hiking backpack from a friend, so we were able to do a little hiking and see the amazing views. We had a fun picnic lunch, hiked around to the water, & walked around the town. It was such a fun day and a perfect day trip. I can't wait to be able to bring Rich back there because it is beautiful!
