It has been awhile since I have blogged (my mom even informed me of the exact date...April 2nd!) Funny thing this blogging world is...before blogs, I could go weeks or months without hearing from certain friends. Now, if I haven't blogged for a couple of weeks, people begin to wonder what is wrong. I have been asked, "Are you okay?," "Are you sick?," "Are you pregnant?," "Are you out of town?," etc. Apparently, these are all appropriate reasons for not blogging. Well, yes, I am okay...I'm not sick (except for my migraines), I am not pregnant, & I am not traveling. So, here are my top 10 reasons for not blogging:
1. I like things to be in order...so I have been waiting for certain pictures so that I could post my last month in order. I guess you could say that is a weird quirk about me!
2. My sister Wendy and her family came to town and we were busy having FUN!
3. I then had to document all of my pictures with digital scrapbooking.
4. In the process of creating my pages, I always manage to find more cute websites with freebies to download, galleries to view, and new techniques to learn. Then, I have to organize all of my new findings :)
5. It has been 95 degrees this week and Parker is LOVING playing in the backyard...however, he only loves it if his Mommy is with him!
6. I am human and have the daily chores of cleaning, cooking, & of course taking care of my sweet boy.
7. I have been READING. It's always fun to find great authors and good series to reads, but it also means that it occupies my time. I have decided that I absolutely love www.goodreads.com because I have so many great ideas of books to read from friends and family...it does keep me busy though!
8. All of the time that I spend in front of my computer doesn't seem to help my migraines, so I have to take breaks from the blogging and digital scrapbooking :)
9. I always manage to do several projects at once so I have to pick and choose which one of those is the most important at the time. TIME is the biggest issue. When your best time to do things is during naptime, you really have to decide what is most important each day. Parker has learned to pull my fingers away from the computer because he knows that means I am not paying attention to him. So, my 2 hour block of time each day is highly valued!
10. I have been busy hanging out with little man - he's almost 2! We've been enjoying playing with playdough, hanging out in the backyard, going for walks, reading books, going to story time at the library, playing at the park, shopping, swimming, playing ball, playing cars - and making the "vroom" sound each time, practicing words, blowing bubbles, trying on every pair of shoes in the house, pushing toys around the house, coloring, & just enjoying the new discoveries each day.
So, there you have it...my top 10 reasons for not blogging :) Hopefully, I'll be better now that I am caught up from our last fun adventures!

Interesting how "life" gets in the way of blogging. Sounds like you guys are having lots of fun!
I couldn't possibly know what you're talking about w/ waiting for pictures...I think you make things like that up...hahaha
Love ya! Angie
Very thorough list. Glad to hear that you are a live and well. Oh, and thanks for the book review site, it's so nice to have a good book on the nightstand.
Yay! Welcome back! And I'm glad that you are human and have to manage your time just like all the rest of us :)
I'm glad to see that you've been up to good things. All of the digital scrapbooking pages you do are amazing. I probably would never update my blog if I waited to have such beautiful posts as you.
