Astros Game

Knowing Rich and Mike, we had to get some sort of sporting event into the vacation...so we went to an Astro's Game. Rich and Mike and crazy sports fans and could think about sports all day. Luckily, married life has calmed the craze down a little. They used to sit and watch games, sports center (repeatedly), and then discuss sports for hours on end. They still have that love for sports, but have toned it down a bit!

We had a great time at the game. We taught Parker how to say "Go Stro's" and also how to pretend to pitch the ball and hit it. It helped to keep his attention. He also loved whenever there was a homerun because there was a train above centerfield that moved whenever a homerun was scored. After the game, there were fireworks. Parker let us know which ones he liked by his words. He loved the glittery fireworks that didn't make very much noise. He would say, "yes, yes." However, the loud booming ones were another story. He didn't cry, but rather just let us know that he didn't like them. He would just cuddle up to Rich and say, "No, no!"
