Rich had a week off of school, so we jumped on a plane and went to TEXAS to visit the Newmans...They definitely showed us a great time and we loved hanging out with Mike, Ashley, & Lincoln. We miss living close to them! Mike and Ashley started dating about the same time that Rich and I did (in fact Ashley was very involved in our initial dates!) They moved to Texas a few months before we moved to Arizona and so we don't get to see each other very often. So, we were excited to hang out.
San Antonio
We got to Houston late Tuesday night and on Wednesday, we drove to San Antonio for some fun. First stop:
The Alamo
As we visited The Alamo, I realized how little knowledge I had about this part of history. I learned a lot and it was fun to see this old fort.
