4th of July

On the 4th of July, we began our morning with 4th of July pancakes. We put red and blue m&m's in them to be festive. We then read some 4th of July books that we had checked out from the library. We spent the morning at the beach, the afternoon at the pool, and then went to the beach again at night with hopes of seeing fireworks. We made sure to bring our 4th of July treats with us. We saw a few feeble attempts of fireworks, but mostly just enjoyed playing at the beach at night.
