I'm back and ready to finish posting about our California trip from a couple of weeks ago...We'll call it part 2: California with the Bishops. After a lot of hassle for Rich's family (broken car window, canceled flight, change of airport, 2 rental cars, picking up luggage at 2nd airport, etc.), we finally all met up at a condo in Oceanside, California. Luckily, Rich and I didn't have any problems so we were able to get the shopping done and relax at the pool on Wednesday while we waited. We even taught Parker how to jump into the pool to us. He thought that was pretty cool. It was nice to have a relaxing day before our day at Sea World.
On Thursday, we headed out to Sea World in San Diego. We had a very fun day watching shows and seeing the animals. I was surprised by how much Parker liked the shows. Every time the animal would go under the water, he would turn and say, "Where'd it go?" He quickly caught on to the clapping for the great tricks and entertained us all with his dancing to the music. While the adults went on a water ride, I took him the kid area where he got to go on a kiddie Elmo ride which he loved! Parker was perfect and enjoyed the whole day (oulasting many of the adults). Once we left the Park, however, he immediately fell asleep in his stroller. He didn't even make it the 3 minute walk to the car. We had worn him out.
Since we have been home, Parker has rediscovered his dolphin that he got last time we went to Sea World and loves doing his sea puzzle with the whales, dolphins, and sharks. We had a great time with the family at Sea World!

I love Sea World--Only been there once even though I'm a CA girl. Pretty sad huh?! I'm so jealous that you get to go on so many trips all of the time. Maybe one day... :)
