Castles N' Coasters

Rich had a few days off school before he started his rotations...so we took advantage of the time off and had some fun. We made sure to get in a trip to the temple, shopping, outings, and more. One of the days, we went to a small amusement park near our house (if you can call it that). Rich's work was sponsoring an employee appreciation day there, so we were excited to go. It turned out to be a really fun event. We were able to miniature golf, go on all the rides, play in the arcades, and have unlimited food and drinks :) We had a great time hanging out with our friends Jeff and Talene and their family.

We had so much and spent several hours there - mostly on the rides. Parker absolutely loved it. We sent him on most the rides with us our Kambri (our friends 6 year old). There were some, however, that he needed to go on alone. I was worried that he would get nervous going on many of the rides alone, but much to my surprise, he LOVED it. He was grinning from ear to ear. We took him on the log ride (with 2 BIG hills). Rich taught him to say "Whee" and "Yay!" as we went down the hills. The hills didn't even seem to phase him...he just LOVED it :) It definitely made me get the itch to take him to Disneyland now that I know how much he loves the rides...I just need to go in the winter with no lines!

ohhh - that sounds so fun! Yes - you definitely need to take him to Disney - but it's so much more fun after your kids are all 40 inches and can all the fun coasters :) Loved all your pics and your murder mystery looked like a blast :)
