The day began with Rich going to play in Turkey Bowl with friends from the ward while Parker and I went to Angie's to put the turkey in. Then, we had to do the "normal" thanksgiving things...
Look through the ads to find great deals...
Watch Football...
Prepare the food...
Rich wanted to feel like he was so helpful...so somehow he managed to get in all the pictures! I will give him credit though - he did make the stuffing :) Ha ha!
Mid-day Snack...
Eating the Feast...and a feast it was!
We had a 20 lb. turkey, potatoes, homemade rolls, jello, corn, beans, stuffing, cranberries & homemade pies...the whole spread!
Then Parker kindly let us know that it was TIME TO GO HOME!Our Thanksgiving festivities lasted all the next week as we ate leftovers and thought up delicious ways to use use turkey in various meals...That being said, Rich will still insist on buying a HUGE turkey every year just because he can :)
