The Dome Club all started 10 years ago at Rich's high school graduation. While taking measurements for their graduation caps, several of Rich's friends realized just how large their heads really were. A normal size graduation cap would not work for them. From this point forward, there has been a long standing joke about their domes. (they also called a few other friends pinheads). This was one of the first things Rich ever talked about to me...the size of his head. He even made up stories about how his head was so big when he was a baby that he couldn't walk straight because he would topple over. Thus, the BIG head.
Jump forward 10 years to pharmacy graduation. Rich's cap arrived in the mail and I pulled it out. I immediately realized that this "one size fit all" cap was not going to fit. After a week or so of persuasion, Rich finally tried it on and realized that this would not work. After pulling it on as far as he could, this is what we got. So, once again, he had to special order a new cap for pharmacy graduation. It definitely gave us some good laughs and brought back good memories of the DOMES.

Here's a favorite Rich quote, "Hey Scotty, Did you tell her about our big heads?". That will probably never stop being funny.
This is just too funny. I remember listening to and watching all the "dome" conversations. Good times, good times. Congrats Rich on your graduation! Very nice!!!
Ahhh, the infamous "one size fits most". We definitely were never part of the "most".
I thought the Dome Club went back further than that.
