Seattle

In August, we took a much needed vacation to Seattle. Rich was working out of town for the week, so I hopped on a plane with the two boys to go PLAY for a week with my sister Heidi and her kids :)

Parker LOVED having so many cousins to play with...Wesley, Guy-Guy (aka Asher), and Teagan were perfect friends for Parker. He had a great time playing in their toy room, running in the backyard, going to the beach, playing at the splashpark, swimming indoors and outdoors, and pretending at the childrens' museum. It was perfect.

Braden spent his days watching and observing his cousin Hannah (who is 6 weeks older than him and very on the GO!) He discovered his thumb while on this vacation and loved being outdoors in great weather. I LOVED having the chance to hang out with my sister Heidi...talking, taking pictures, playing with the kids, and we even got to go out for a couple of nights on the town --- shopping and a movie. It was very fun to getaway for a few days and hopefully next time, Rich can join us in the fun!

The trip home was a little crazy because I had flown standby. When I went to Seattle, the flights had looked great for the following weekend - but a week out is too hard to tell. As it got closer, we realized that there was no way I was getting home out of Seattle. I really needed to get home because Rich was planning to pick us up in Salt Lake to go to his 10 year reunion and then head back to St. George so that we could move into our new house. Things were a little tight. In the end, I decided to rent a car and drive 3 hours to a different airport to fly home from there. Chaos - but worth it :)

Thanks for a fun trip! Parker still pretends he is going to Seattle to visit Guy Guy all of the time!
