September Work

September was a month that was spent cleaning, unpacking, and working. We spent all of our days working to get our house in order. Moving is HARD WORK! Luckily, we got some help from so many kind people! The first day we moved in, we had people bring us bread, dinner, groceries, offer to babysit, treats, etc. The next week, the young men in our ward came over and cleaned out all of the tumbleweeds and debris that filled our backyard. Parker LOVED watching them work (especially because they used a bobcat!) He stayed still in his chair for at least an hour - not moving at all...totally entranced!

Just a glimpse of what was in our yard...(after a lot of cleanup!)

The work must have worn out our kids! Gotta love these sleeping pictures. Isn't it amazing how kids can fall asleep? I've always been told stories of how I would fall asleep in my jello at Sunday dinner...Parker just might get something from me :) He fell asleep in his lasagna!
