Thanksgiving Returns to St. George

We had Thanksgiving at my house this year. As soon as we found out we were moving to St. George, my family started talking about restarting our Thanksgiving traditions. As October came around, the talk became reality. We ended up having 39 for Thanksgiving!

We started up many of our old traditions and even created a few more. We had soup, rolls, and ice cream with homemade hot fudge on Wednesday night. The kids created turkey cupcakes. The next day, we had another turkey craft of chocolate rice krispies...

Thanksgiving day we watched the parade, played football, ate turkey {of course}, we had a talent show, played rook, and enjoyed visiting. We moved my couches out of my family room and set up 4 long tables in the family room with the kids in the Kitchen (connected to the family room). It worked out great - definitely a lot of work to do it all in one house, but worth it :)
