Gingerbread Houses with a Theme

Each of our houses had a purpose this year because Parker insisted on knowing who lived in each house. He started by creating the house for the little mouse and a cave for the Big, Hungry Bear. I then made houses for the 3 Little Pigs. Rich finished it off with Santa's Castle. We connected all of the houses into a village surrounding a beautiful tree (created by Rich & Parker). It was definitely fun to see his creativity.

The trick after that was trying to keep Braden from eating the gingerbread houses. I walked in the room to discover that he had climbed on the table and was sitting there eating them. I guess he wanted to join in the fun. Next year!
