Favorite Foods: Pizza and Strawberries
Favorite Toys: His dump truck, musical instruments, fridge magnet, and these days the cupboards...We are convinced that we should just put away all of this toys for a few months because he really just wants to get into mischief!
Favorite Book: His touch and feel books where he can touch the fur, hair, sticky paws, etc.
Biggest Fear: The vacuum and standing on his own. (It's true...He gets so mad when we try to make him stand. He does great holding on to things, but if we let go he isn't happy. He has figured out how to sit down the momen he thinks we are going to let go!)
Favorite Song: 5 Little Monkeys Swinging in a Tree. He LOVES the snapping alligator. I actually never knew this song until I did music time in Nursery and I was told that this was a MUST!
Favorite Non-Toys: The kitchen cupboards, the diswasher, the fridge - anything in the Kitchen. Basically, if I open the fridge or the dishwasher - he crawls as fast as he can towards it to try to get it before I close the desired item. He has also discovered plugs, the stereo, the computer, phones, the drawers in his room, and CHAIRS. He LOVES chairs! Funny kid!
What he's doing now: Pulling everything out of the diaper bag.
Favorite Game: Peek-a-boo or playing with his Daddy. He loves being "chased" around the house, loves trying to find Rich, and loves when Rich sneaks up on him!
Soothers: His favorite would have to be a triple combo...sucking his thumb, while cuddling with Mommy, and pinching Mommy's neck. All three are the best, but usually one those helps. (Yes, I know - the whole pinching thing is funny - he pinches my neck, but plays with Rich's ears. I guess my ears aren't as flexible!)
Favorite Place: Outside or in the bathtub.
Mischevious Things: Pulling hair, pinching, dropping his food on the floor when he doesn't want it, trying to pour his water out of his cup, pulling all of his clothes out of the drawers, and getting into TROUBLE. Truth be told, he isn't that much trouble...If I didn't watch him, he could be though! (Like right now as I am typing this, I saw him eating something. I thought that it was the goldfish from the diaper bag - but NO, it was the jellybeans left in there from Primary. I guess that he knows what he likes!)
Least Favorite Things: Grass (probably because it is crab grass here), having his hands or face washed, not being allowed to get into trouble, putting his face in the water (a little sprinkle is okay), and a closed door!
Favorite Sounds: The door opening when his Daddy gets home and music
Favorite People: His Mommy and Daddy (of course, little kids (to stare at), and our friend Angie. He LOVES her. Lately, Angie has taken him through church while I am in primary. I ask Rich how Parker was and tells me to ask Angie. Other than that, he takes awhile to warm up to people. He loves looking at people and will even reach out to them - but usually from a safe distance until he is comfortable. He is definitely on the shy side!
Proudest Moments: When he gets where he wants to go - by crawling or crusing along the walls, chairs, tables, couches, or whatever else might assist him :)
Hair Color: BLONDE. Parker is blonde as can be. I put this on here because he was a full red head when he was born. Any guesses on what color it might end up?
Best Features: Most people comment on his dimples and his bright blue eyes.
Time he wakes up: Parker usually comes into bed with us about 6:00, but then will usually fall back asleep for another hour (2 if we are lucky). Sometimes, he sleeps longer than I want to sleep, but I worry about leaving him in my bed because he rolls around so much.
How Parker recharges himself: Laying on the floor and sucking his thumb. It is so funny because he will totally be playing and then he'll take a little "break" to suck his thumb. In a few minutes, he is up and ready to go again.
Well, there you have it...a few random facts about Parker. I love how unique each child is!

That was fun to read. It will be great to look back on that, even 6 months from now, and see how much he has changed.
It's fun to get to know Parker better. We can't wait to see him again. It will be fun when our boys can play together. I just love watching Linc grow and seeing him do something new all the time. We're starting to get the hang of rice cereal. :)
