Becca, Erika, Parker, & NicoleIsn't it funny that we all grew up in Holladay, Utah? It takes moving to Arizona to meet people from the same area...Actually, Nicole, Ty (Erika's husband), & I all went to Howard R. Driggs Elementary. How random is that?!

Erika and Parker
Surprise, surprise - Parker actually LOVED being held by other people tonight. He's getting more and more social all of the time!

We had a great night last night going to dinner and bowling with our friends. Parker got to join the fun as well! He kept wanting to go and touch all of the balls that were coming up from the lanes. I mean, really, who wouldn't?! He thought it was his own playground filled with balls! Rich was happy because he made his all time high score of bowling. I didn't do quite as well. I think that it had to do with the fact that I didn't bowl my "normal" way the whole came. I say my "normal" way because anyone who has been bowling with me knows that I am not a typical bowler. You see, I was never very good at bowling, so I decided to spice things up (a long time ag0 - probably dating back to the Jr. High days). What do I do? I turn around and bowl between my legs. I know, it sounds silly...but I guess that I did it so much that I actually started having some success this way. No, I am not a professional bowler or anything - but I can get an occasional strike once in awhile. I always try get everyone to bowl that way (then I can win), but most of the time I am lucky if I get people to do one round that way :) Anyway, last night I only bowled that way for part of the time and then I changed...I LOST! Maybe I should stick to the bowling between my legs afterall!

Haha! I am still laughing at your bowling moves from last night! The funny part is...you were good BOTH ways...normal and goofy! No fair!!! Next time we should play "crazy bowling" where everyone has to bowl the same, funny way, each turn. We had a great time with you guys...and Parker was SO GOOD, gosh that makes having a baby, look easy! Thanks for the yummy ice cream too...it was DEVINE!
I was telling my Sunday School class that I went bowling this weekend, and the kid in my class that is on the bowling team said that they wax/ oil their lanes too much at Brunswick so their team doesn't go there to practice cause it throws off their game. Needless to say, we all should have bowled better, it was the lanes that threw off "our game" ha ha. Next time we will have to bowl somewhere else and see if there is a difference, except it apparently threw Rich's game off in the right difection.
What a fun date night! I am impressed that Parker did so well. I can't even begin to imagine how crazy James would go in a place like that.
