Parker is very determined. If he gets something in his mind that he wants to do, he will look for every possibility there is to do it HIS way.
For example, today in church. He wanted to push the chair around. He had already gone back to be with our friend Angie. Then, he decided it was a great idea to try to move the chair. He braced himself to go. When it wouldn't move he would try to move Angie's hand and go at it again. He would pretend to be disinterested and as soon as she moved her hand BAM, he would try again.
When we got home today, he decided that he wanted to play with the kitchen chairs. He climbed under the table and wanted to push them around. One problem, the table has a ledge and he would bump into it. We went over to help him sit down and get out so he wouldn't bump his head. This made him mad...He wanted to push the chair from the inside. So, he tried again. BUMP. He bumped his head again. We tried to get him to duck his head, but he didn't like that either. We've seen him sit down before, we've seen him duck his head before, but that was not what he wanted today. Even after several bumps to the head, he still thought that he could push the chair from under the table. Maybe one of these days he'll learn :)

Cute kid!! Could he have his mommys stubborness??:) JK- Love ya becca!!
What is it about kids and stubborness? James is the same way - he has been headstrong from day one. (and he does get that from his mom!)
I will never forget the time a parent had to take a kid out of a stake conference meeting because his head and arm were stuck through the hole in the back of the chair. He just carried him right out of the meeting- chair and all. I still wonder how he got his son out of that mess. Good luck with Parker and chairs. Watch out for the dome and holes in chairs.
