Parker and I spent the last week in New York with my sister's family in the Hamptons. They have a beautiful house a couple of blocks from the beach. I have spent many summers staying with my sister Wendy and her family, so it was fun to go back for a quick visit!
Although we took Parker to the beach when he was just six weeks old and then again at nine weeks old, I still consider this his first time to the beach because he actually played in the sand instead of being held the whole time.
This was the first day to the beach. At first, he didn't know what to think. He sat still and didn't want to move. He was much happier when we gave him sand toy to play with and soon found himself thoroughly enjoying himself. However, the first day he did NOT want to move around...just stay still :) He soon learned from his cousins that there was much more to do at the beach though!

Becca - I love all the pics! Looks like you and Parker had the most wonderful trip!!! The beach looks beautiful, time spent with family sounds so fun, and what a wonderful location :)
