Parker and I are headed to New York for 10 days to spend some time with my sister Wendy and her family. It will be a nice vacation and fun to see family! Parker was wanting to be very involved in the packing. He loved looking at the suitcase and playing with the zippers. He was even trying to be so helpful with his unpacking. Lately, Parker has been very into emptying drawers and putting things other places. He loves to put his toys in drawers, empty out the diapers and pajama drawers, and even put clothes in baskets. So, this came as no surprise that he wanted to empty the suitcase and fill it with his own treasures :)
Parker has also started making this growling noise. If you say, "what does a lion say?" he occasionally will growl. It is pretty cute. His mouth is open in some of the pictures because he is "growling!" Gotta start young on those animal sounds...I am pretty good at an elephant afterall. Maybe that will be next. :)
So, I'm off. Hopefully everything goes well with flying alone with Parker. Parker's only flown 1 1/2 hour flights and Rich and I have both been there, so it is a new experience. It's worth it though...We're excited for a great vacation in New York at the beach!

We can't believe how big Parker is! He's growing up so fast. Have fun in New York!
Tater - have so much fun in the Hamptons!!! Hope the flight went well. I am going to have to fly with Lance alone at 4 weeks - do you need to do anything about the air pressure? Hopefully he'll just sleep through it! So, three weeks and we are joining you guys in the valley of the sun! We can't wait! Love, Katie
I wonder if flying will be harder with an older baby. So far it has been a piece of cake for us. Whatever the price I'm sure it will be worth it! I've always wanted to go there. Have so much fun!!
Ohhh - I hope you have the best time! Can't wait to hear about your adventures and see lots of pictures.
Hope the flight and every goes well :)
