Locks of Love

I have had long hair since I was 10 years old...for 15 years! The last time that my hair was really short was when I was in 4th grade...not only was it short, but it was permed. I think that the combination has made me scared of short hair ever since. I have been wanting to cut my hair for a long time, but never have the courage. While my sister Lisa was in town, she finally convinced me that I could do it. Afterall, it's only hair, right??? It will grow back. So, we spent Wednesday deciding what I wanted to do. I found that to donate to locks of love, I needed to cut 10 inches off...so that is what I did.

Now, as I look at these pictures of my long hair from the back...I am even more grateful that I did. You never really get a back view of your hair, but I definitely needed to cut some off. So, here are the results...from long to short :) It's definitely going to take some adjustment time. It's been a long time since I've had short hair...but it's a new adventure for me! There's no turning back now!
