Parker is a true boy - he loves BALLS. He loves to play in the backyard and throw them around. He enjoys playing pass with anyone who will take the time. He has learned that he has to put his socks and shoes on before he goes outside in the backyard. So, often times, he will bring me his socks and shoes with the hope that he can go outside. It is fun to see what he really wants :)
He gets very excited when his Daddy pulls out his basketball and even enjoys going to basketball games. He wanted to hold the ball all the way to the church (and then proceeded to try play catch in the car!) Ward ball has started up again, so that is how we spend our Friday nights these days. The first game, Parker thought it was fun to watch and clap. After the game, I let him run around on the court. BAD idea! The reason is that he learned that this was fun. He was not happy this past week when he couldn't play on the court during the game. I guess that he just wanted to be one of the boys. Sometimes I really do think that he believes he is older than he is!
One funny tidbit about our ward team are their uniforms. This year, a guy in our ward decided it would be fun for them to have matching outfits. So, he went out and bought not only matching shirts, but matching shorts as well. Maybe it is an intimdation tactic so that they might be able to win a game. We have a fun ward and Rich is excited to be playing basketball again. Parker is happy with any chance he gets to play ball!

So fun! He is really adorable. For sure we should do something since it is so nice out. The zoo would be fun! Or somewhere else outdoors?

Hey there! I love your cute pictures! It sounds like your ward has quite a b-ball team! They just started basketball in our ward and Rich is so happy to be playing again! I also wanted to ask you about your scrapbooking. Are you doing digital scrapbooking? I haven't ever done it but I would really like to give it a try --I have no clue where to start! Any pointers? You do such a great job at it!! Thanks!
Your scrapbook pages are so cute. Did you do them online? If so, with what program? I've started doing digital scrapbooking too using Picaboo, but I've never seen the cute tags and stuff you have. I'd love some tips!
I swear Linc said ball the other day, but he hasn't said it since so I don't think it counts as his first word. Cute pages. Maybe you should post on your sidebar about scrapbooking since everyone is asking alot. By the way, Love the pictures with Parker and the big basketball. So cute.
