Cute moments!

Yesterday, we had one of those "priceless" moments with Parker. As is the ritual on Sunday mornings, Rich spends time planning is lesson and I work on Primary. We switch of playing with Parker so we can both get things done. Well, yesterday, Parker saw Rich studying his scriptures. He walked into the other room and found my scriptures among all of the other books. He brought them out to Rich and wanted to sit on the couch with his Daddy reading the scriptures. It was clear that he knew what he was doing because he specifically got the scriptures off the bookshelf that consisted of MANY other books! Too cute!

Parker is very into his balls these days. He will bring 20 balls out into the living room and then proceed to want EVERY SINGLE ONE on the couch with him. It isn't enough to just have a few, he wants them ALL! I used to think that parents fully influence what kids like and, yes, we have an abundance of balls - but it is Parker who has decided to love them. In fact, I used to keep them in a closed box until Parker was wanting me to open the box every few minutes.

Parker is obsessed with BABIES! He loves all of my friends babies and constantly wants to hold them. It all started when I was babysiting my friend's little baby Kenda. Parker wanted to hold her and was NOT happy when I took her away. Ever since then, he wants to hold babies. My friend Katie watched Parker the other night so that Rich and I could actually go on a date (WAHOO!) Parker was a little upset before I left, but quickly calmed down as soon as she brought Baby Lance to see him. Parker was content the rest of the night. No, this does not mean I'm ready for a baby yet - but it is sure cute to see how much he LOVES babies!

Parker loves giving hugs these days. He hugs people, his zebra, & his teddy bears. It is really cute because his hug consists of putting his head on your shoulder and sort of snuggling into you! It's moments like these that make the hard parts worth it!

Parker has such a cute little personality. Does he talk much? It is such a crazy thing because I am always wondering what Makenna is thinking about. I love reading your blog :)
