Princess Parker...can I say that?!

These are some of those photos that Parker may get mad at me for when he is older or wonder what in the world his mom was thinking. I do have a few things to say in my defense...

1. I didn't put the dress on Parker - Stacy did :) It was also Stacy that gave Parker his first necklace (at Corinne's 3rd birthday). Parker has since then loved necklaces and bracelets...so I guess that I can blame it on Stacy! (just teasing!)

2. Corinne REALLY needed a friend. As soon as she saw that Parker was dressed up as a Princess, she got a huge smile on her face and said that she had someone to play with. Apparently, you can't play with boys if you are a princess and Parker was NOT her prince. (We
had already asked her that!)

3. Parker LOVED dressing up. He was grinning from ear to ear when he had the Sleeping Beauty dress on and then wanted to put on a Cinderella dress on. It kept him happy the rest of the night :)

4. At least he decided to be tough and wear a princess dress while riding on a police car!

5. I don't actually own anything girly and all of his likes at home are boy enough - I know that he loves balls, cars, dirt...anything boy. He's just comfortable in his manliness.

6. What boy hasn't dressed up girly one time in his life?

7. Parker looks like a boy - so at least there isn't any confusion when you put a dress on him! It isn't like you wonder if he is a boy or a girl!

I guess that the moral of the story is that we need BOY dressups because apparently Parker likes to dress up and maybe he needs to spend more time with his friends that are boys so that he can do BOY things...Until then, he might still be playing princesses with Corinne!
