Christmas Lights at the Temple

Since the Youth in our ward were going to see the temple lights for an activity (and Rich is a leader), Parker and I decided to tag along. I was worried if we didn't go this night with Rich then we might not get to go again this year because of his busy schedule. It worked out perfectly. We loved seeing the lights. Parker was very excited to see the temple and insisted on singing "I love to see the temple" multiple times on the drive down to Mesa. He also loved the Christmas lights and all of the attention from the older kids :)

I love the unique features of the lights down here - especially the lights in the palm trees! It was a fun night followed by doughnuts and hot chocolate!

Now that's something I miss about Arizona - being able to see the Christmas lights without FREEZING! This year we opted for the "sit in the car and see the lights as we drive through Thanksgiving Point" because I didn't want to do the cold with 4 younguns. It worked great. But we should have just flown down to Arizona and come with you!
