I learned an important lesson last Monday and this is to NEVER go to the post office on December 15th at 4:00 in the afternoon. I knew that I might have a wait, but I wasn't expecting the 1 1/2 hour long line to mail my cards and packages! Ouch! Luckily, I brought the stroller (which I don't always do), but I knew that I needed help carrying the boxes and Parker - so I brought it along...Thank goodness!
The good news is, the presents were all sent off and I've been able to have a relaxing week knowing that I have done almost everything for Christmas...Plus, I found out today, my package already made it to Spain (wahoo!) I was worried it wouldn't get to my sister in time, but much to my amazement it did :) Canada, however, might be a different story. I find it quite interesting that it takes mail longer to get to Canada than to Spain!
Hooray for the post office experience being over!
