NBA Allstars Weekend

With Allstars weekend in Phoenix this year, we decided to go downtown and enjoy some of the excitement. Unfortunately, we were 7 minutes too late to go to the Jam Session, so instead we spent the night at the NBA Block Party...We still had a great time playing games, going in the ESPN van, winning prizes, & seeing a few NBA stars. It was just fun to feel like we were part of the action :)

If you have seen any of the ESPN commercials with the ESPN van - you will understand these pictures! On a side note...I don't know about anyone else, but Rich LOVES ESPN commercials. He loves them so much that he spent an hour watching different commercials on Youtube. I guess that is some good marketing if people choose to watch the commercials...

Best of all...There were contests in which we won prizes. Rich won a basketball by jumping to a certain height and Parker won a bag for shooting a basket (with help from Daddy). Parker loves to shoot baskets and plays basketball on his own hoop everyday. It is is a little funny to see him with a big basketball, however, because it is too heavy. He still tries and loves to make the effort. Plus, he always seem to find some follower that will lift him up and help him shoot.
