I've finally convinced him that his "friends" have to eat pretend food from his kitchen so that they don't get dirty and that we don't take his friends into other places with us because we don't want them to get lost. He just wants them to be involved in everything he does. I love watching him play with them. For example, when he plays cars, he will push one around. Then, he will pick up one of his friends and help his friend push the car around. It is definitely very sweet to watch and also makes it very apparent how much he wants someone to play with all of the time.
One day, Parker even decided that he needed to put a diaper on his teddy bear since Parker wears a diaper. The day that I started potty training, Parker quickly decided that he wanted his teddy bear to wear underpants instead since his teddy bear was big now (just like Parker!)
My favorite thing that he does now that he is in a big boy bed is that he loves to read his friends stories and put them to bed. He even mimics things that I commonly say like "see you in the morning" and "night night."

I love watching him play and pretend. It is moments like these that I wish I could freeze forever!
