The Diamondbacks season officially started...we didn't make it to opening day, but settled for the 2nd game of the season. Unfortunately, we must be a bad luck charm because they seem to lose whenever we go...We had a great time with one of Rich's friends from growing up.
After making fun of me for the past year about using facebook, Rich finally decided that there were some cool things about facebook - like reconnecting with old friends. It wasn't until the family I lived with in New Zealand found me on facebook that Rich was convinced that this could be a fun thing. After all that teasing, he is now hooked. Anyway, it was through facebook that he discovered that his friend Josh Lybbert lives down here (only a couple of miles a way from us). We have been living this close for the past few years and had no idea. We were excited to get together and went to the game with Josh and his wife Natalie and their two kids. We had a great time together and the boys definitely enjoyed catching up with each other...oh the joys of facebook :)
