Ward Easter Egg Hunt

Who would think that an Easter Egg Hunt in Arizona would actually get rained out? Now that is a rare occasion, but unfortunately for us - that was the case. We had a ward Easter Egg Hunt the day before Easter. It is usually held on the baseball field, but this year it RAINED! So, we had the whole event inside. It started with breakfast and a craft for the kids. Then, they separated the kids into different age groups and sent them to rooms in the church to search for eggs.

Once Parker understood the whole point, he was thrilled to find the eggs around the room. He was so excited to show off each of the eggs that he collected. Parker loves this couple in our ward, George and Gina. As soon as he was finished collecting his eggs, he ran to them and insisted on showing them each egg individually. He wanted to open them up and dump out the contents. I had to laugh because pretty soon Parker was surrounded by about 6-7 adults who were giving him all of the attention in the world as he showed off his eggs. What a charmer!

I just love Parker's little glasses. He looks so grown up. Can't believe you guys are almost done. What are your plans?
