Treasures from the Easter Bunny

Parker has been talking about the Easter Bunny ever since I pulled out my Easter decorations. He has been telling me that the Easter Bunny would come in a few weeks and that he would get chocolate. On Easter, we waited until after nap time to find his Easter Basket. Now that he understands the concept of hide n' seek, we told him that the Easter Bunny had played hide n' seek with his Easter basket. He thought that was hilarious and quickly began his search for his basket.

After discovering all of the fun things in his Easter Basket, he thought it was just as fun to find Mommy and Daddy's Easter basket. This year's hiding places were all easy enough for a 2 year old...between the couches, in his fire engine, and behind a chair. Parker got so excited to find the baskets and kept saying that the Easter Bunny was silly for hiding the baskets.
