Goodbye Friends

Saying goodbye to all of our friends was definitely the hardest part of moving. We lived in such a great ward in Phoenix and truly felt that the people became like family to us. We had so much help when we needed it most and felt so much love. I am so thankful to all of the many friends that we have met over the past 3 years. I am scared to name people for fear of leaving someone off...but I'll try to name a few.

*Angie and Morty. They truly were our family and we have so many wonderful memories with them. Luckily they don't have to end since they are moving up here!!! We loved having Sunday dinners, game nights, parties, shopping, going on dates, help with our kids, talking, etc. They are the best friends we could have :)
*The Livingstons. The Bishop was a wonderful man and a great help to us. We loved this family and had so much fun talking to them and spending time with them (plus Amberly was a great babysitter!)
*The Killpacks for the fun outings, fun parties, and for hanging out.
*The Thomsons for the friendship and all of the help with Parker. I loved visiting teaching Kristi and getting to go over and talk {for hours}
*The Kuhns for being such good friends and examples to us all
*The Malicdems for being such fun neighbors and hanging out at basketball games. I loved how Heather would bring the girls over for walks and to talk.
*The Smiths for our great friendship. Too bad it took us so long to start getting the boys together to play...they sure had fun!
*George and Gina for being such good friends and always making me smile. George always seemed to spoil Parker with different toys that he would bring especially for him!
*The Curtis Family for being great neighbors. Mason was another one of the boys that loved playing with Parker. It always made Parker's day to go to their house and see the kids and "buck."
*The Jenks. I learned so much from them and feel that they are wonderful people. I was so impressed with Kjiersti for her motivation. One day in primary she came up to me and asked if I would teach the kids all of the verse to "How Firm a Foundation." I told her that I couldn't because 7 verses was too many, but that if she did I would give her a king size candy bar. She worked for a few months and passed the song off right before I moved. It was so sweet to see her work so hard to accomplish this.
*All of the primary kids
*The Primary Presidency
*The Relief Society Presidency
*The Kenningtons for their great friendship before they moved and for letting us live in their house for the past 2 years. It was so wonderful to get out of the apartment and have a home!
*The Springers for introducing us to so many great people in the ward and organizing many get togethers!

Parker and the boys
Connor, Scott, Jake, Brady, & Parker
This picture is of Parker with the Kuhn boys and Scott Thomson. They loved playing with Parker and treated him like one of the big boys. He even went to the triplets 7th birthday. When Braden was born, the Kuhn's were so sweet and brought dinner and a present. Then, each of the boys picked out a couple of their own cars and gave them to Parker. This was so nice of them. When I was packing up to move, Holly was so kind and invited Parker over to play with the boys while we got some things done. He loved being one of the "big" boys.

Thanks to all of the wonderful friends that we have made. Hopefully, some of you will make it up our way and come see us!

Yes...he definitely thinks that he is bigger than he is! I'm glad you like the header...After adding a column to my blog and changing the background and pictures, I had HEIDI do it! She did a great job :)
