Moving Days...the never ending day(s)

The move finally arrived. I had been boxing up boxes since before Braden was born and kept feeling like I was "almost done." However, as always, the time came to quickly. Luckily, we had lots of help from friends and family. On Saturday, Amanda and Linda helped me indoors packing up while the boys worked cleaning up the yard. It was definitely a full morning of work followed by some fun outings. We were all a little worn out after that (little did we know how much tiring the next few days would be!)
Linda was a huge help with packing and the kids over the next few days. Then, Tuesday night - "moving night" arrived. The Young men came over and helped load the truck. It only took about 2 hours because so many people came by to help. Then, we were left with the random stuff...the kind of things you don't even know what to do with. Morty, Angie, and the Malicdems stayed until very late helping us pack up the last few things. We stayed up until about 2:00 AM and woke up about 5:30 AM to finish the packing and the final cleaning. Mike and Jamie came to check the house and we hit the road.

Rich drove the moving truck, I drove the car with the two boys, and Linda drove our civic. We drove all day and stopped for the night at my Aunt Julie's house in Mesquite, Nevada. We unloaded all of our belongings for the summer and packed what we would need for a week in Salt Lake. So, it was another late night of packing.

The next morning, we woke up early and drove to St. George to unload all of our stuff into a storage unit for the summer. Our friends Greg and Ray helped Rich unload the entire truck {definitely a big job!}.
You'd think by this point, we would be ready to sleep, right? Wrong. Instead, we got lunch and then Linda watched Parker while we went to look at some houses with our real estate agent. After looking at several houses, finding one that we LOVED, and making an offer on a house (more details to come) we headed up to SLC in order to get to the airport when my sister Lisa got home from her mission. Definitely a whirlwind few days!!!
