We were the {lucky} hosts of Thanksgiving 2010...and me be forever more. It is definitely a lot of work, but it is so worth it to have my family here for Thanksgiving and I love doing the same traditions with my kids that I did when I was little. So, if it means I host - I'll do it. This year the numbers were even down a bit - only 34! We were thrilled that everyone could make it. My Grandma had gotten very ill in August and September. When I visited her in the care center, she said that her goal was to be better so she could come to St. George for Thanksgiving. She did it and we had a wonderful time.
There was lots of fun to be had with soup and ice cream the night before, the parade, turkey bowl, yummy food, games, rook, shopping, movie ("Tangled") and way too much sports. It was colder than normal this year, so we didn't make it to the Sand Dunes, but we still had a ton of fun at the "crack." Definitely a lot to be thankful for!
