Higher Daddy!

This weekend, we were reminded how hot Phoenix really is. It's May and it already got up to 105! This meant that we spent a lot of time at the pool. Parker is starting to get a lot braver in the pool - splashing around in his duck, standing on the stairs, holding onto the bar, and his favorite - being thrown up in the air. He just giggles the whole time. He loves it when we go under the water and then pop out. If he can't see us, he starts looking around and giggling because he knows that we are coming. He definitely knows what peek-a-boo is and loves it in the pool. He also loved being thrown up high in the air. He was even brave and got his face under the water during one of these dunks. (I think that we are more scared of him going under the water than he is). We have just started realizing how fast he is growing. He seems like he grows up more and more each day. He has started making a lot more noises and he even tries to mimic us once in awhile. It is amazing to me how it seems like he learns things overnight! Our sweet boy is almost 1! We are enjoying every moment!
